Woolston House - Bed ♦ Breakfast ♦ Dinner
Welcome to Woolston House – whether you are planning a relaxing break, celebrating a special occasion, unwinding after a hectic working day or looking for the ideal base during your motoring holiday. Your hosts Caroline and Alberto will be delighted to welcome you into their historic home, an elegant Georgian country residence situated in an ancient peaceful hamlet, surrounded by farmland in the glorious Shropshire countryside. Sympathetically refurbished to offer every modern comfort whilst carefully retaining the original features of this lovely house.
Woolston House is a Wolsey Lodge one of a collection of private homes, where the standard of hospitality, the location and the individuality of each house and host, has earned its unique place within the market today. The name Wolsey Lodge recalls Henry VIII's Lord Chancellor, Cardinal Wolsey. When he toured the realm in the 16th century, he expected to receive generous hospitality at any suitable country house along his way.
